The signing will take place from 12pm to 5pm. The producer Nicole Clevenger of the up-coming film will be attending this event as well.

Book Signing October 2nd and 3rd at the Country Fall Festival

Come Join us for the change in season at the Country Fall Festival in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. This is your opportunity to meet the Author William Winebrenner on Saturday and Sunday and Special appearance from the Producer Nicole Clevenger on Sunday of the upcoming film "Anna's Violin". Live Interview with Kenny on Hearing Anna

I was at the Farm Museum in Point Pleasant not too long ago and got a chance to catch up with Kenny Stewart. Kenny lived in West Columbia which is in miles from where the story of Anna Potts took place. At age 13 is when Kenny witnessed the screams and cries of Anna. Kenny at age 78 now, say's "Till this day, it makes chills up my back just thinking about it". Tune into this 5 minute clip of Kenny's side of the story.

A local author grabbed the attention of many at the plate breaking ceremony today in Roseville.

William Winebrenner's novel, "From out of the Forest" is going to be turned into a movie.

"It's hard to believe that somebody like me that came from a coal mining town, you know just a poor little kid has reached the highs, I was nominated as an International Writer of the Year in England in 03'. I've got books all over the world, books in every state. And I don't know what it is about my writing, but it seems to be addictive to people," said Author William Winebrenner.

He believe's this movie will attract the attention of all, "I think it's going to be a great movie and a great story, and I think its going to be something that people are going to enjoy," said Winebrenner.

Production for the movie is planning to begin in 2012.

WOW! News spreads fast. From the reconition at Pottery festival on our project Anna's Violin. William was approached to do an Interview from Fred Kight with WOUB T.V. A brief background of Fred the picture to the right "For as long as can be remembered, WOUB Assistant News Director Fred Kight has been honored as the "Best Radio Personality" in the Athens News for the publication's annual "Best of Athens". William will be doing a live interview from the station. The interview will be broadcasting on WOUB channel 20, Tuesday July 27 from 6:30 pm- 7:00 pm. William is scheduled to appear half way through the broadcast which would put him on about 6:45 pm. We will posting the interview on our site once we get the footage from the station.

Movie Reconition at the Pottery Festival in Roseville

I want to thank the Pottery Festival for allowing us to set up our book signing. It was also a pleasure for us to help celebrate your special day (45th Anniversary of Plate breaking Ceremony). Also, a big thanks too WHIZ TV, WYBZ-107.3 Ron Strong and Time Recorder for broadcasting us live on T.V, Radio and Newspaper for our up coming project "Anna's Violin". STOCKPORT — A novel written by a Morgan County man might be made into a feature film.

William “Yno” Winebrenner of Stockport has written several books over the years, but “Out of the Forest” is the first to garner the attention of filmmakers.

Based on a Clifton, W.Va. legend, the book tells the story of Anna Potts, whose family was torn apart by an attack by Native Americans.

According to Winebrenner, Native Americans visited the Potts’ one year and asked to trade 10 horses for one of the daughters. The parents refused and, a year later, the Native Americans returned with 20 horses. The Potts’ again rejected their offer and the Native Americans attacked the family.

The legend is that the Native Americans raped Anna and her daughters and burned the father’s legs off. The two daughters were then taken by the Native Americans. There’s also a ghost story attached to the legend — supposedly Anna’s ghost leaves the woods each November to ride on her mule to neighboring Native American villages to look for her daughters, then returns to Clifton each May.

Nicole Clevenger of Corporate Solutions Video and Film Productions is the main producer for the upcoming movie based on Winebrenner’s novel. It is being co-produced by Marshall “Dancing Elk” Lucas.

The movie will be titled, “Anna’s Violin.”

Clevenger said she found Winebrenner’s story to be an interesting one. She said the book will be adapted into a feature epic film.

She said the script for the movie is almost complete and then investors will be sought. According to Clevenger, some have already expressed interest in investing in the project.

According to Clevenger, the film will be shot at locations in West Virginia, Ohio and Virginia. She said she hopes production of the movie will be under way in 2012.

In the meantime, Winebrenner has been doing book signings to get the public more familiar with the story.

Winebrenner said his book can be purchased at Lasting Impression, located inside ACEnet on Columbus Road.

Do you belive in Ghost?

Wow! We were doing a book signing at the Farm Museum in Point Pleasant when I was approached by a young girl stating that she had captured Anna apparition on their Deer Camera. I asked how. She began to tell me that they set the deer cameras to track when the deer were around most of the time. As they were reviewing the tape they ran across the image. Creepy! Huh. See for yourself. This is scary. It is till this day that the locals still hear Anna screams and cries from the Clifton Woods. To give you a little background on the image. Anna's Potts two daughters were kidnapped by the native Indians. Anna , would leave every winter to go back into the forest on her mule looking for her two daughters.

If you look very close where they have circled Anna's image, you will be able to see the ears of the mule in front of Anna.

This is one of the reasons why our movie Anna's Violin is going to be so intense.

THE EXPO
The EXPO is a highly popular part of the State of the Industry event and is an excellent way for businesses and individuals to interact with the industry. EXPO exhibitors will have a 4-foot space at a table in the event area which can be used for displays, informational materials, or video presentations. Exhibitors will be supplied with access to power for a laptop or monitor. The Richmond and Northern Virginia venues have internet access. Hampton Roads exhibitors, please check availability.

The EXPO is intended to be informal and the allotted space is small, so exhibits and displays should not be excessive. Exhibitors can arrive any time after 5:00 p.m. to set up. There are a limited number of spaces at each venue and these will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to participate in the EXPO.
