The book signing will be going on from the 15th through the 18th of July. On the day of the 15th -Celebrating 60 years of T.V WSAZ Television channel 3 will be interviewing the Producer and Author about the movie "Anna's Violin". On the 15th and 18th, you will get a chance to meet and greet with the "Producer" Nicole Clevenger of Anna's Violin and also the Author himself William "Y-no" Winebrenner. The Author will be doing book signings for all four days. You will have a chance to purchase your very own autographed copy of the novel "From Out of the Forest", In which the movie Anna's Violin is based off of.

STOCKPORT — A novel written by a Morgan County man might be made into a feature film.

William “Yno” Winebrenner of Stockport has written several books over the years, but “Out of the Forest” is the first to garner the attention of filmmakers.

Based on a Clifton, W.Va. legend, the book tells the story of Anna Potts, whose family was torn apart by an attack by Native Americans.

According to Winebrenner, Native Americans visited the Potts’ one year and asked to trade 10 horses for one of the daughters. The parents refused and, a year later, the Native Americans returned with 20 horses. The Potts’ again rejected their offer and the Native Americans attacked the family.

The legend is that the Native Americans raped Anna and her daughters and burned the father’s legs off. The two daughters were then taken by the Native Americans. There’s also a ghost story attached to the legend — supposedly Anna’s ghost leaves the woods each November to ride on her mule to neighboring Native American villages to look for her daughters, then returns to Clifton each May.

Nicole Clevenger of Corporate Solutions Video and Film Productions is the main producer for the upcoming movie based on Winebrenner’s novel. It is being co-produced by Marshall “Dancing Elk” Lucas.

The movie will be titled, “Anna’s Violin.”

Clevenger said she found Winebrenner’s story to be an interesting one. She said the book will be adapted into a feature epic film.

She said the script for the movie is almost complete and then investors will be sought. According to Clevenger, some have already expressed interest in investing in the project.

According to Clevenger, the film will be shot at locations in West Virginia, Ohio and Virginia. She said she hopes production of the movie will be under way in 2012.

In the meantime, Winebrenner has been doing book signings to get the public more familiar with the story.

Do you belive in Ghost?

Wow! We were doing a book signing at the Farm Museum in Point Pleasant when I was approached by a young girl stating that she had captured Anna apparition on their Deer Camera. I asked how. She began to tell me that they set the deer cameras to track when the deer were around most of the time. As they were reviewing the tape they ran across the image. Creepy! Huh. See for yourself. This is scary. It is till this day that the locals still hear Anna screams and cries from the Clifton Woods. To give you a little background on the image. Anna's Potts two daughters were kidnapped by the native Indians. Anna , would leave every winter to go back into the forest on her mule looking for her two daughters.

If you look very close where they have circled Anna's image, you will be able to see the ears of the mule in front of Anna.

This is one of the reasons why our movie Anna's Violin is going to be so intense.
